- If you are using Citrix PV drivers on Windows Server, you can upgrade the Citrix Xen guest agent service. This Windows service handles tasks such as shutdown and restart events from the API. You can run this upgrade package on any version of Windows Server, as long as the instance is running Citrix PV drivers.
- Xen: The open source Xen hypervisor providing paravirtualized and fully virtualized machines. A single system driver runs in the Dom0 host talking directly to a combination of the hypervisor, xenstored and xend. Example local URI scheme xen:///.

Customers should use the XenServer CLI to install this driver disk. Once the driver has been installed, the server must be restarted, in order for the driver to be loaded. This registry setting specifies the maximum number of reboots that are automatically completed when using Windows Update to update your drivers. Important: Updating to the 9.x.x.x version of the xeniface driver removes quiesced snapshots capability of the VM.
